Several years ago, my wife and I established a support forum for parents and others affected by reactive attachment disorder on Delphi Forums, which can be found at http://forums.delphiforums.com/radkid/
Although I am no longer the host of the forum, I visit it at least once a day, most days, and continue to serve as a co-host of this very helpful support forum.
Many of us lack a strong support system at home, or among people we know; and even when we do, there are things that can more easily be brought to a comparatively anonymous family such as we have assembled on Delphi Forums.
The forum is where I go whenever I have something to share, whether good or bad, when I have run out of ideas, or when I simply want to talk to someone who understands what I am going through.
Through the forum, we have been able to help a lot of people through some particularly bad times, and we’ve been able to share the good times. Everything that has ever been posted there is still available to anyone who cares to look for it. From our early posts, you will understand that, if my wife and I have given, we have gotten far more than we’ve given out. On the forum, I am known as “kfander” although I generally sign my posts as “ken” as I do here.
I invite you to join us.
